Ora ho capito! Grazie mille di nuovo @cenerentola.

Prego☺️

Altezza AH = h = area/AB = 54/12 = 9/2 = 4,50 cm

chiamo a il segmento DH e b il segmento CH

a+b = 12

a*b = h^2 (Euclide dixit)

(12-b)*b = 4,5^2

20,25-12b+b^2 = 0

b ; a = (12±√12^2-20,25*4)/2 = (12±√63)/2 = 9,97 cm (b) ; 2,03 cm (a)

oppure

chiamati C e c i cateti maggiore e minore

C*c = Area = 54

C^2+c^2 = AB^2 = 144

(54/c)^2+c^2 = 144

2916/c^2+c^2 = 144

2916+c^4-144c^2 = 0

c^2 ; C^2 = (144±√144^2-2916*4)/2 = 24,38 ; 119,6

C ; c = 10,94 ; 4,937

b = √C^2-h^2 = √119,6-20,25 = 9,97 cm ...come trovato sopra con Euclide
